We are hiring an enthusiastic tutor to join our successful Functional Skills team working within the Apprenticeship provision across both college group sites in Chesterfield and Derby.

As a team we work closely together to support each other and to develop our delivery. The successful candidate would be expected to work with us, to develop and deliver a flexible curriculum in Maths and English Functional Skills to support Apprentice\xe2\x80\x99s timely progress through the gateway to End Point Assessment.

This is a hybrid role with teaching and learning carried out online and face to face, both in groups and one to one sessions to support achievement. Equipment is provided to enable home working and travel is required across both College sites in Chesterfield and Derby, as well as to apprentice\xe2\x80\x99s place of work as and when required.

A proven record of successful learner results, an ability to track student progress and good administration skills are essential for this post. Applicants should hold qualifications in English, Mathematics at Level 3, possession of these at Level 4/5 would be an advantage. A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards and experience of online delivery would also be an advantage.

A flexible and responsive approach to work is essential.
