About the role:

FDPlan is a cloud-native application hosted on SLB\xe2\x80\x99s industry leading DELFI platform. We require an experienced Full Stack Developer to design, develop, test and support operations of some of our Software as Service products. The focus of the team is the delivery of a leading commercial Software as Service product to help experts in the energy sector plan the development of their field assets.

This work requires the successful applicant primarily to be experienced in modern web front-end development frameworks (Angular, React or Vue) and back-end development (with Java, C# or preferably Go).

It is expected that the successful candidate will be able to:

• Design and develop microservices and cloud native apps to deliver technical workflows.
• Build automated tests to validate code quality, scalability, and performance.
• Contribute to the automated deployment and build.
• Support the software reliability engineering, contribute to the software operation and cloud-cost management.
• Participate in technical reviews of requirements, designs, code and other SCRUM ceremonies.
• Contribute innovative ideas for new products and workflows.
• Share expertise throughout SLB and expand their informal network.
• Identify and keep abreast of new technical concepts in Full Stack Development.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Multiple years of commercial experience developing back end software in Java, C# or preferably Go
• Multiple years of commercial experience of using React, Vue or preferably Angular.
• Multiple years of commercial experience developing microservices.
• Experience with DevOps based operation
• Ability to learn quickly in an inspiring environment.
• Ability to combine technical, communication and design skills.

Exposure to any of the following would be advantageous:

• Experience with Cloud platforms (e.g. Google Cloud Platform & Microsoft Azure) and portable technologies
• Experience with Node.js and/or Python
• Experience with container platforms and orchestration
• Experience in scripting
• Experience in AI/ML

Qualifications:

• Degree or higher qualification in either Computer Science, Mathematics, Science or Engineering Discipline with programming experience.
