An exciting full time nanny role has become available, working for a professional, young and friendly family in a modern and spacious house in Taplow, Buckinghamshire.
Although the parents occasionally work from home, they have very busy jobs and are looking for a dedicated nanny who would like to take sole charge of their two children, a little girl aged nearly three and her brother who is four and a half. Their son attends full time school and their daughter attends nursery for two half days each week (Thursday and Friday).
The hours will be term time (34 weeks) 07.00-19.00, Monday-Wednesday and 13.30-19.00 on Thursday and Friday (47 hours weekly) and in the school holidays (18 weeks) the hours will be Monday-Friday, 07.00-19.00 (60 hours weekly).
The parents are keen for their children to have fun while learning, in order to hit their various developmental milestones - with lots of stimulating and educational indoor fun (reading stories, jigsaws, arts and craft, imaginary games, baking, etc) mixed with plenty of outside play and walks to the park. The neighbourhood is full of young families and is within easy reach of all amenities. The area caters well for baby groups, offering the opportunity for the nanny to have outings as well as meet other nannies in the area, making sure that the children are happy and safe at all times.
Along with full personal care of the children, as the family employ a weekly cleaner, this role will be nursery duties only, but some help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated. As well as keeping all areas the children use organised and tidy (kitchen, children\'s bedrooms, children\'s bathroom, playroom, etc), the nursery duties are to include keeping on top of the children\'s laundry. You will also provide the children with healthy and nutritious meals and snacks each day (home cooked from scratch as often as possible).
You must be a careful and confident driver with a clean licence. There is a car available to use while on duty.
It is important that the nanny has a positive attitude, is reliable, committed, punctual, communicates well and can handle situations independently and is highly energetic. Most importantly the nanny should be creative and proactive when it comes to the care of the children. A flexible, reliable, independent and dedicated nanny is essential, someone who would become part of the family and could be trusted with 100% care and development of the children.
The family describe themselves as a fun, outgoing couple, who like to travel, who like being outdoors and love spending weekends with their children.
A nanny who would like to travel on holiday with the family would be advantageous.
If you have a real love of children and would enjoy being part of this fun and happy family, then this could be the perfect role for you.
