Export Certification Technician

& Internal Auditor

Monday - Friday / Part time, 32 hours per week

Up to 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

The division employs over 9,000 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to UK consumers via major retailers.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Export Certification QA And Systems Auditor will be heavily involved in the day to administration & coordination of the Export policies and procedures, and will be responsible for the internal auditing process. The role involves:

\xc2\xb7 Ensuring supply chain maps in place for all products of animal origin are accurate

\xc2\xb7 Validate batch details of the relevant materials at all stages in the supply chain

\xc2\xb7 Match the correct batches of the relevant raw materials to the final product ensuring accurate trace on site

\xc2\xb7 Verify the trace details gathered for accuracy and generate product trace packs for the export health certificate

\xc2\xb7 Audit completion against the defined schedule with relevant evidence of compliance

\xc2\xb7 Communicating NC\'s to relevant parties and supporting NC closure and subsequent verification

\xc2\xb7 Escalating food safety and legality issues identified during the audit process

\xc2\xb7 Establish raw materials for which veterinary declarations will be required for each of the components

\xc2\xb7 Review submitted declarations for compliance and accuracy

\xc2\xb7 Ensure declarations are attached to the final product profile where required

\xc2\xb7 Update such databases with the most up to date information for new products

\xc2\xb7 Timely resolution of any outstanding supplier queries

\xc2\xb7 Timely resolution of any depot queries to avoid delays

\xc2\xb7 Establish and maintain export depot relationships to facilitate effective communication

\xc2\xb7 Establish and maintain key supplier relationships to facilitate effective sharing of information for the purposes of generating export health certificates

\xc2\xb7 Quick response to queries if on call and required out of hours

\xc2\xb7 A good understanding of the supply chain/chain of custody linked to products of animal origin

\xc2\xb7 A good understanding of export health certification requirements

\xc2\xb7 Level 3 Food Safety

\xc2\xb7 HACCP level 3

\xc2\xb7 Auditing qualification

\xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of ERPs e.g. SAP/Navision/AS400
