Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant pub team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the front of house, including working behind the bar, serving tables, running food and opening and closing the pub.

Due to hours and responsibilities we are looking for some 18years and over, supervisor position may be available for the right candidate based on experience and performance.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Take orders accurately and efficiently, demonstrating excellent upselling techniques to enhance guest experience. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication regarding orders and special requests. Handle guest inquiries or complaints professionally, striving for positive resolutions. Support other team members as needed, fostering a cooperative work environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders efficiently. Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain hygiene standards in food preparation areas. Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering outstanding guest services. A passion for hospitality, the guest experience and all it entails. Ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being self-motivated when necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
