We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional service delivery and maintaining high standards of hospitality within our establishment. This position requires a strong background in culinary operations, food safety, and customer service, making it essential for candidates to possess a passion for the hospitality industry.
Duties
Oversee daily front of house operations, ensuring a seamless experience for guests.
Train and manage staff in bartending, and overall service etiquette.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the establishment.
Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, collaborating closely with the kitchen team.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to exceed customer expectations.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and delivery.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary.
Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff.
Skills
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality sector, preferably in a pub or restaurant setting.
Strong skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards.
Excellent bartending skills with an understanding of beverage service.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with both guests and staff.
Previous supervisory experience and ability to provide staff training essential.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations is highly desirable.
Previous experience of the Marstons operational systems an advantage.
