Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and professional first impression. Assist in the preparation of food items while adhering to food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all customer requests are met. Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Support bartending duties as needed, mixing drinks and serving alcoholic beverages responsibly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to enhance guest satisfaction.

Skills

Experience in a hospitality or catering environment is preferred, with a strong understanding of restaurant operations. Proficiency in bartending skills is advantageous, with knowledge of drink preparation techniques. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential for maintaining health standards. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting efficiently. A positive attitude and willingness to help others contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere.
