Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
Assist with seating arrangements and provide menus to customers.
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted.
Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.
Manage the bar area, preparing drinks according to recipes and maintaining cleanliness.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Uphold food safety standards throughout all stages of food preparation and service.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution and satisfaction.
Assist in catering events as required, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly.
Skills
Previous experience in a Front of House role within the hospitality sector is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation is advantageous.
Experience in bartending or catering is a plus, showcasing versatility within the role.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure during peak times.
