We are a busy coffee shop based in Betws-y-Coed.

The Alpine Coffee Shop is a cafe with a conscience, we try our best to keep our environmental impact to a minimum and we raise money and awareness for ape conservation.

We have vacancies for general cafe assistants to join and assist our team, working front of house and behind the scenes in the day-to-day operations of the coffee shop.

Your responsibilities will include greeting customers, taking orders, making hot and cold drinks, serving customers, till work, clearing tables and washing up as well as more general cleaning tasks.

We will consider both full-time and part-time applications, however weekend availability is essential.

A candidate who holds a driver's licence is desirable as we are in a rural location and require the reliably commute, considering the infrequency of public transport in the area.

We are looking for someone who is available to work on a flexible schedule and therefore will not be looking to hire students.

Previous hospitality experience, including barista experience, is desirable but not essential. If you have a basic food hygiene certificate and/or allergy awareness that would be advantageous but again support will be given to complete this.
