Front of House Manager

We have an excellent opportunity for a Front of House Manager to be a part of our growing and well-known family business.

This role is part of the Senior Management Team here at The Blue Bell and will input into the overall running and direction of the business. It is a full-time time role, salaried for 35-40 hours per week, spread over 5 days and will require evening and weekend working. Some flexibility will be required over busy periods but as a key member of the team, you will also benefit from holiday, pension, discounts and bonuses.

So what's involved...? Managing our fabulous team of Front of House Staff to ensure our customers receive the quality service the Blue Bell is renowned for. You will usually be the first person our customers meet on entering The Blue Bell and your role will specifically include greeting and serving our customers, both in the bar and restaurant as well as checking guests into rooms and ensuring they receive top-class service throughout their stay at the Blue Bell. The role will also have responsibility for the cellar, maintaining the beer and other drink offerings and ensuring stock levels are maintained. You should have previous experience of managing a busy bar or restaurant, preferably in a key-holder capacity as this role will also have responsibility for locking up and cashing up at the end of service.

This is a really important role and we would expect the successful person to manage all aspects of front of house with minimal supervision and will have direct responsibility for the Front of House Team. You will also be responsible for the full operation of the business (along with the Head Chef) when the Owners are not present which may also require staying overnight on occasion.
