We are seeking an experienced and dynamic front-of-house Manager to oversee our establishment's daily front-of-house operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the culinary arts. The candidate will ensure that our restaurant runs smoothly while maintaining high food safety standards and high-quality customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to team management, food production, and customer service, creating an inviting atmosphere for staff and patrons.
Duties
Lead and supervise kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and production processes.
Manage and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment that encourages professional growth.
Oversee food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and maintaining a clean working environment.
Develop menus in collaboration with culinary staff, focusing on quality ingredients and innovative dishes.
Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering processes to ensure adequate stock of food supplies.
Handle customer inquiries and feedback promptly, striving to enhance overall dining experiences.
Implement training programmes for new hires in areas such as food preparation, safety standards, and customer service.
Collaborate with bartending staff to create a well-rounded beverage menu that complements the culinary offerings.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a leadership role within the food industry, preferably in a floor or restaurant setting.
Strong understanding of food production techniques and culinary practices.
Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
