We are looking for two caring, compassionate individuals to work for a front facing and customer focused service within the Integrated Transport Unit (ITU). These positions are for weekend working only, 3 hours per day on a Saturday and Sunday.

Being a clear and strong communicator that offers experience and understanding of supporting vulnerable people will be beneficial to the role. We are keen to invite interest that can demonstrate transferable skills within your career to date although full training and continuous professional development is offered.
Under the direction of the Operations Lead Officer, to deliver high quality customer focused services that supports the work of the ITU, which includes such services as Home to School Transport and Community Meals on Wheels. Duties would typically include operating fleet vehicles within a prearranged, structured schedule to convey passengers, or deliver goods and welfare services.
Successful applicants will be fully supported with training and shadowing opportunities as part of an induction and a be part of a dedicated staff team.
This position is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
A valid driving licence and own transport, or be able to provide alternative, suitable method of travel is an essential condition for this role.
