: Junior Freelance Hockey CoachPosition Overview
:We are seeking a motivated and passionate Junior Freelance Hockey Coach to join our dedicated coaching team. You will be responsible for assisting the coaches delivering high-quality, engaging hockey sessions for our youth team on Sunday mornings from 10:30am to 12:30pm for a period of 12 weeks, starting 27th April 2025. Some experience coaching youth hockey is desired but not vital.Main Responsibilities and Duties
:Work closely with the head coach and other coaching staff to provide a cohesive training program. Adhere to safety guidelines and ensure a safe environment for players. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and coaching staff to provide feedback and updates.
Desired Qualifications
:Level 1 Coaching Badge in hockey or equivalent. Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate. Experience coaching youth hockey. Strong knowledge of hockey rules, strategies, and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
