Job Description

As part of continued growth, we are seeking a Freelance Finance Manager, based on-site located outside of Ware for US and Austrian Not-for-Profit Foundations.

Reporting to the Finance Director, this position is mainly accounting focused, but will require you to work on other projects.

The Role:

Inputting of accounting data into QuickBooks Maintain cashbooks daily Bank and credit card reconciliations Process timesheets and expenses Produce weekly proposed payment lists Match delivery notes to purchase orders and invoices Scan and file records daily to ensure ease of access when required Assist with the management of the purchase ledger Support the purchase ordering function Cost reporting Budgeting Experience in inter-company reconciliations Preparation of monthly management accounts and cashflow forecasts Maintain the fixed asset registers Opportunity to get involved with other tasks when they arise

Role requirements:

Minimum 7 years in a similar role with sound experience Hands-on experience of QuickBooks Articulate, numerate, strong administrative skills coupled with high standards of accuracy and attention to detail Good knowledge of accounting principles to ensure accurate financial reporting Pro-active and able to work on own initiative, as well as in a team Advanced excel skills Confident team player Keen and positive attitude with willingness to help wherever needed A car is essential and free car parking on site is provided
