FP & A Manager \xc2\xa360,000 - \xc2\xa370,000 + bonus Manchester City Centre (hybrid working)

Robert Walters are excited to be representing a highly successful Private Equity backed company who is currently experiencing a period of substantial business growth and therefore seeking a dynamic and ambitious Financial Planning & Analysis Manager who can play a key role within the growing FP&A team.

The new FP&A Manager will be working alongside the CFO, Group Financial Controller, Finance Business Partners and Directors across all areas of the business. Due to the unique business model the role will provide unparalleled exposure to multiple companies giving you an incredibly varied and dynamic working environment.

The role:

  • Ownership of all areas of the budget, including P&L, balance sheet, cashflow & capex.
  • Annual planning and budgeting cycle.
  • Strategic financial modelling including change and improvement of group forecast models.
  • Produce scenario analysis and provide a platform for financial analysis of future acquisitions.
  • Lead on preparation and delivery of monthly reports for Board review.
  • Work directly with the CFO and other senior leaders to develop and maintain relations with external stakeholders including current and future investors, banks and corporate lenders.
  • Work with the Group Director of Acquisitions and COO on both potential and new targets and provide support on the integration of newly acquired businesses.
The successful individual:
  • Fully CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified with significant post-qualified experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experienced in leading annual budget setting processes.
  • Highly proficient in Excel including well-structured financial modelling.
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to be dynamic and work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and influence key senior stakeholders.
This role requires a self-motivated and focused individuals who thrives in a dynamic business environment. You will have the ability to quickly establish strong working relationships and have excellent leadership and communication skills. Please note this role requires occasional travel.
