Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and materials management. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

Efficiently load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring accurate handling of materials. Assist in shipping and receiving operations, verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively. Conduct basic equipment repairs as necessary to maintain operational efficiency. Maintain an organised warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock movements. Perform basic maths calculations for inventory management and order fulfilment. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and retrieval procedures are followed. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous. Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for performing equipment repairs. Experience operating forklifts,certification required. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory and materials handling.
