Production Line Operative with Counterbalance Forklift License

Hours of Work

The successful candidate will work the following day shift :

Monday - Thursday : 8.00am - 5.00pm

Friday - 8.00am - 2.30pm

Main Duties:

Safely operate 1-ton bulk bagging machine, ensuring all bag weights meet required specification. Label all bagged products and conduct regular checks to ensure quality standards are met. Operate a counterbalance forklift to move 1-ton tote bags of raw material from the production area to the storage yard. Keep work areas clean and organised to maintain a safe working environment. Load and unload lorries when required, ensuring paperwork is checked and filed. Maintaining the forklift to a high standard, carrying out pre-use checks and reporting any damage or faults to management. Work closely with other team members to achieve production targets. Adhering to all Health and Safety compliance policies and procedures. Provide support and assistance to other departments as needed.

Essential Criteria:

Previous production experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Previous experience operating a counterbalance Forklift, with valid counterbalance License. Good level of understanding and spoken English. Ability to take direction and following instruction.

Desirable Criteria:

Previous experience operating a loading shovel with a valid loading shovel license.
