Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Football Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching and a commitment to educating players on the fundamentals of football. This role involves developing athletes' skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive sporting environment.

Duties

Plan and conduct training sessions that focus on skill development, teamwork, and strategy. Educate players on the rules of the game, sportsmanship, and the importance of physical fitness. Assess individual player performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Develop game strategies and tactics to improve team performance during matches. Organise team practices, drills, and competitive events while ensuring the safety of all participants. Foster a supportive and inclusive team culture that encourages player participation and enjoyment. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaching staff to ensure alignment on goals and expectations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in sports coaching, preferably in football. Strong understanding of football techniques, tactics, and rules. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate players of varying skill levels. Ability to motivate and inspire athletes to achieve their best performance. First aid certification is desirable but not essential. A commitment to ongoing professional development in coaching practices.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Zero hours contract

Pay: 15.00-40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 40 per week
