We're Hiring: Grassroots Football Coach (Ages 6-12)

Location:

Radstock, Wiltshire and outer Bristol area

Current Availability Required:

Thursday evenings & Sunday mornings

About Us:

Razor FC is a growing grassroots football club committed to making football accessible, inclusive, and inspiring for every child. Our sessions aim to build confidence, skills, and a true love for the game--no matter the starting point.

We're now expanding our team to support our 6-9 age group training sessions on

Thursdays

and eventual matches on

Sundays

. This is more than just a coaching job--it's an opportunity to play a meaningful role in a child's football journey and be part of a club that's going places.

Who We're Looking For:

We're after someone who genuinely loves working with kids and brings

energy, initiative, and a team-first mentality

. The right person will always go the extra mile--whether that's helping set up cones early, staying behind to give a player extra tips, or working with us to grow Razor FC and progress their own coaching career.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver fun, engaging training sessions for players aged 6-9. Assist senior coaches with 10-12 age group training Lead matchdays on Sundays, supporting development over results. Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment. Communicate with players and parents in line with our values. Support Razor FC's wider mission and actively contribute ideas and improvements.

What You'll Need:

A real enthusiasm for working with young children and making football enjoyable. Some experience coaching or working with kids (doesn't have to be formal). A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and take initiative. Enhanced DBS (we can help with this if needed). Good communication and people skills. Coaching qualifications are great, but not essential--full training provided. First Aid and Safeguarding preferred but not essential.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: 12.50-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 16 per week
