Stonegate Farmers are seeking a Production Operatives to join our Cooked Egg Production facility, the Egg Innovation Centre. This role assists with the efficient supervision and leading of a team to meet all compliance targets whilst delivering to production KPIs.

Role & Responsibilities:
To assist in the completion of all orders set out on the plan, through the correct set up of all equipment on line and basic fault finding that could incur stoppages and hamper the success of the line.
Chase any stoppages that may prevent the line from running i.e. product feed, tray or crate supply.
Supervise and cover the day-to-day running of the department, ensuring it runs efficiently, to agreed parameters and KPI's are met.
All equipment must be set up to a safe operating standard and ensure that the company's health and safety standards are followed by yourself and others in the department. The machines must be set to ensure that all products produced are made to the correct quality and food safety standards at all times.
Capable of leading a team effectively, by demonstrating the ability to cope well under pressure and with multiple demands. Supervise the day to day running of the team to ensure the KPI's are met at all times.
Attainment to plan; Egg utilisation (best practice), quality, labour control, waste control, production downtime, utility usage, stock control and other measurements of efficiency.
Products made must be produced to the agreed quality specification whilst ensuring that all staff are trained to produce quality products within the company's health and safety rules and guidelines.
Motivate and develop your team, identifying and implementing training as required, using the performance improvement and disciplinary procedure where necessary
Ensure all documentation is accurately produced and audit ready in line with both internal and external procedures and standards.

Qualifications / Experience:
Previous experience within a leadership role within a production / manufacturing environment is advantageous for this role.
Previous experience within a Food Production environment is
essential
for this role
Previous Warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential.
