Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our food and beverage services, ensuring that guests receive exceptional hospitality and high-quality culinary experiences. You will play a vital role in maintaining food safety standards, supervising kitchen staff, and assisting in food preparation to deliver an outstanding dining experience.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food production and safety standards. Assist in the preparation of meals, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and presentation standards. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as necessary to maintain efficient operations. Train new staff on food safety practices, kitchen procedures, and customer service expectations. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health regulations. Collaborate with management to develop menus that reflect seasonal offerings and guest preferences. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete satisfaction. Support the culinary team during busy service periods as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food production techniques and food safety regulations. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for providing outstanding hospitality. Experience in culinary arts or related field is highly desirable. Ability to lead by example and motivate team members to achieve high standards of service. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.00-13.21 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
