Job Description

Responsibilities:

Set shift pattern Tuesday 08:00-4:00pm, Thursday 08:00-4:00pm, Saturday 08:00-4:00pm. 24 hours a week. Overtime shifts available.

- Provide excellent guest service by taking orders, preparing and serving beverages including alcohol and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses and utensils.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely delivery to customers in the members bar.

- Completion of food service at in house events ranging from weddings, parties and funerals.

- Work with the team to complete room setting for in house events and conferences, duties includes moving tables and chairs throughout the function room.

- Maintaining cleaning standards in the bar and function room, duties do include hoovering and ironing of linen.

- Strong communication skills required for answering the bar phone and passing messages to relevant staff.

- Work to provide the business expectations inline with providing a excellent customer experience.
- Communicate effectively with customers to take orders, answer questions, and provide recommendations.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding alcohol service and responsible drinking.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
