Duties

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Provide excellent guest services by taking orders, answering queries, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Support the kitchen team with food safety practices, including proper storage and handling of ingredients. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the dining experience and promote menu items effectively. Perform basic maths calculations for portioning ingredients and managing stock levels. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous. A keen understanding of food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.

Pay: 7.55-13.00 per hour
