Maintenance Coordinator

Mission

Providing support and guidance to assist in reducing the backlog or works required under the scpe of the facilities/maintenance department. Acting as a focal point for queries into the department both online and in person.

Key skills & experience

• Organise routine service visits and legislative inspections for all plant and equipment using Planet FM as a planning tool.
• Ensure maintenance data bases are up to date: e.g., Permit System, Contractor Public Liability Insurance, Suppliers RAMS, Site security access.
• Oversee review of key site databases (SharePoint): COSHH, GRA, D&T, DSE, CRW, Waste Disposal and Archive Store

• Use and management of Planet FM, Call logging and work order management system.
• Ability to critique with RA (RAMS), COSHH and other compliance requirements in a commercial environment.

• Provide occasional cover for reception

• Experience working with Contractors and small scale project works.
• Knowledgable in Risk Assessments and RAMS, including creation and updating.
• Computer literate with a high level of skill in the use of the relevant software
• Three years administrative and/or Supervisory experience, with exposure to a Maintenance commercial/industrial environment.
• A helpful and friendly personality with a pleasant telephone manner, able to build effective working relationships both internal and external.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and well developed inter-personal skills.
• A flexible approach, able to cope with constantly changing environment and priorities, work under pressure and handle variable workloads.
• Must be thorough and precise.
