COVER SUPERVISOR

PART TIME OR FULL TIME September 2023

8:15 AM \xe2\x80\x93 3:30PM LOCATION : Hounslow

The Role :

• To cover short term absence of teachers in the classroom & ensure students remain on task and complete their work.
• To manage classroom behaviour, guaranteeing that students remain on task with the work they have been set
• To support other members of staff in ensuring that students with additional needs are appropriately supported and engaged in their learning and integrated into the school community.

The successful candidate will :

Be able to supervise whole classes and give instructions using their initiative to support teaching and learning throughout the school.

Be confident supervising classrooms solo (students aged 11-16 years) Mainstream secondary school.

Hold strong classroom presence ,academic knowledge with the ability to think on your feet.

Can take initiative and responsibility.

Hold excellent organisational skills, communication and literacy skills as well as efficient IT and administrative skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
