Flintshire Council Mental Health Team Social Worker £40ph
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced level III Social Worker with significant experience of working within Mental Health services. They must hold a clean driving licence and be registered with \'Social Care Wales\'.
The post holder, as an integral part of a range of Mental Health Services in Flintshire will provide early intervention/prevention support to people with identifying with mental health problems and their carers /families. The post holder will play an important part in the provision and development of Community Care activity within the team, to include joint assessment, care planning/support/signposting to community options. Support will include individual and where applicable, group and team approaches. The post holder will be encouraged to develop areas of expertise in accordance with the needs of the Community Mental Health service. The post holder will be committed to the principles of Social Services Well Being Act and working in partnership with key stake holders. This includes other agencies, such as Health and Voluntary Sector Organisation\'s as well as service users and carer\'s. The postholder will develop knowledge of community options, make links with resources available, develop creative responses and offer these to people identifying with mental health problems.
