About Us:

Arrow Film & Foil Converters Ltd is a leading printed flexible packaging company based in Castleford. We specialise in plastic-based packaging for the food industry, using mono web structures and laminates like OPP, PE, OPA, and PET. With three 8-colour wide web flexo presses producing HD quality prints and a quick in-house repro process, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products with fast lead times.

The Role:

We're looking for an experienced

Flexographic Printer / Shift Lead

to join our manufacturing team. You'll be responsible for operating our flexographic printing presses, ensuring top-quality output, and leading a small team on shift. This role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills to meet production targets and maintain a smooth workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain 8-colour wide web flexo presses Ensure high-quality HD printing standards are met Oversee shift operations, coordinating team tasks and workflow Troubleshoot printing issues Ensure all health & safety and quality control procedures are followed Liaise with the production team to meet deadlines and lead times Train and mentor junior team members as needed

Requirements:

Proven experience in flexographic printing, ideally with wide web presses Strong understanding of HD flexo printing processes and materials (OPP, PE, OPA, PET) Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to troubleshoot, adjust, and maintain printing equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Excellent communication and organisational skills Flexibility to work shifts and adapt to production needs
