First Line Support Technician

LendingMetrics is one of the UK's leading providers of financial technology, working in partnership with both Experian and Equifax. We offer a diverse range of decisioning software and data services to the online lending industry in both the UK and Australia. We primarily supply services to UK clients; however, we have ambitious plans for growth and are looking to expand into new territories overseas.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a First Line Support Technician to join our Tech Ops Team. The primary focus of the role will be to provide an effective level of first line technical support and ensure issues reported by clients are resolved in a timely manner. The candidate will also be the point of contact for internal company IT support issues and be responsible for managing the company's IT equipment.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide effective first line technical support.

Troubleshoot issues reported by clients, ensuring issues are documented and resolved in a timely manner.

Work closely with second line support and development teams.

Effective and regular communication with clients to ensure exemplary customer service is delivered for each ticket raised.

Assist with the building of Decision Engines.

Provide IT hardware and software support for company employees.

Assist with managing on-premises IT equipment, tracking stock levels and maintaining a register of assets.

Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by your line manager or the Directors.

Key Skills, Competencies & Experience:



Experience working in a first- or second-line support role is desirable.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills.

Strong focus on attention to detail, rigorous in testing and completion of a task.

Good organisation and able to work under pressure.

Proficient in MS Excel.

Excellent computer literacy.

Enthusiastic, with a willingness and drive to learn new skills.

(Desirable) Some familiarity with C# , but not essential.

(Desirable) Some understanding of SQL, but not essential.

Job Types:

Full-time, Permanent, M-F.

Salary Scale:

25,000.00-28,000.00 per year. (DOE)
