First Line Manager DFG Team Job description
An exciting opportunity has become available to work within the Disabled Facilities Grants Team. We are seeking to recruit a First Line Manager to support the work of this team.
We are keen to recruit someone who is passionate about supporting our client and can demonstrate a systematic approach to processing grants. The right candidate should demonstrate the right values and behaviours that we, as a Council celebrate, having people at the heart of what we do and helping people live the life they want to.
The successful candidate will be IT literate, confident with Housing and Regeneration Act 1996, the Private Sector Housing Policy and have an awareness of the Care Act 2014 and able to demonstrate competence of means testing for DFG grants. The successful candidate will also be able to manage theirs and their direct reports allocations, providing a high level of supervision and support to their direct reports and offering advice to the Occupational Therapy team with who we work very closely.
