Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for someone with previous firmware engineering experience within a manufacturing capacity. We\'re helping a Nottingham-based company hire an Firmware Engineer, and the full-time role comes with a salary up to \xc2\xa350,000 per annum and an excellent benefits package.

As a Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting solutions for the bespoke products.

In your first few weeks in this flexible role, you can expect to:

• Create firmware and hardware level software and support tools
• Ensure firmware can be built on our continuous build system
• Produce documentation including requirements, change notes and user manuals
• Assist the support team with troubleshooting technical issues, developing and implementing corrective actions as needed.

To apply for this software engineer role, you will need a minimum of 3 years of work-based experience in Software Engineering. You will also require the following:

• Experience developing for ARM based Micro-Controllers in C
• Working knowledge of software engineering.

Desirable:

• Developing for the Atmel SAM range of microprocessors.
• Experience using IDE\'s such Eclipse or Visual Code.
• Using version control and CI systems such as GitLab, Git or Atlassian tools.
• Agile/Scrum development process experience.
• Working with stage lighting and lighting control products.
