Fire Stopper
Job Description
Orbit Workforce Solutions Ltd is recruiting for experienced Fire Stoppers to join an ongoing project in Leeds starting ASAP.
Install and maintain firestop systems in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
Installation of Firefly barriers
Inspect and assess existing firestop installations for compliance and effectiveness.
Collaborate with construction teams, including carpenters, electricians, and masons, to integrate firestop solutions into building designs.
Fabricate necessary materials for firestopping applications as required.
Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during installations.
Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Document installation processes and maintain accurate records of materials used.
Requirements:
Blue CSCS Card (Mandatory) NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection Proven experience in fire stopping, including batt & mastic, fire doors, penetration sealing, and related tasks Own tools and PPE IPAF
