The role involves working within the BeSure Fire & Security Team as an Installation Technician, carrying out a multitude of technical tasks in accordance with NSI Gold, BAFE and Company guidelines. As part of our team, you will receive ongoing training, support and development. We have great opportunities to help install and maintain work for our existing and new client base, these opportunities are in the domestic and commercial sectors, offering a wide range of fire services.
You will be trained on Fuzion 4's operating system and will be expected to gain an awareness of various fire systems, as well as learning industry terminology.
This is a team-based role, but the ability to work confidently and effectively on your own initiative will be paramount. You must be well presented, a quick learner, and able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
Duties can change from time to time subject to client's requirements and change to the marketplace.

Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm with a 30minute unpaid break for lunch
Standby Duties:
Paid retainer plus paid call outs. 4 days on, rotated amongst all technicians.
Salary:
36,000 - 38,000
You will receive 22 days of paid holiday plus all UK statutory Bank Holidays, which increases with time served. You will also be auto-enrolled onto the workplace pension scheme after 3-months, you can opt-out should you choose.

Main Responsibilities
Carry out servicing and fault finding/rectification across all disciplines of fire and security to the relevant industry standards (NSI and BAFE).
Compile comprehensive reports from all site visits.
Carry out standby duties as a part of a team rota.
General Duties
To be familiar with the companies' policies, procedures and guidelines which are set out in the Employee Handbook. Particularly, those associated with Health and Safety.
To undertake training and development essential for the role.
To complete a 6-month probationary period and participate in annual appraisals with your line manager to monitor performance and set objectives.
To undertake any other reasonable duty, at the same level of responsibility, that has been requested by senior staff.
The candidate should have 5 years' experience within the fire and security industry and should:
Have experience in industrial, commercial and domestic settings, working on systems of varying sizes, including small works & maintenance.
Be able to identify and rectify faults across effectively and efficiently.
Ability to service systems on all areas of fire to the relevant industry standards (NSI and BAFE).
Have knowledge base of multiple manufacturers equipment and experience working with the following systems:

? Paxton
? Scantronic
? Texecom
? Galaxy
? Morley/Kentec Fire
? EMS
? Nurse Call Systems
Fluent in the English language, both spoken and written, as well as being literate and numerate.
Excellent customer service skills.
Have the ability to correspond clearly, concisely, and politely with administrators, technicians, customers, and external organisations, whether by telephone or written communication.
Have basic IT skills using MS Word, MS Outlook etc.
Have the skills to be multi-faceted and the ability to carry out numerous duties across various departments.
