Hybrid Asset Solutions Ltd is a rapidly growing facilities management company based in Swinton, Manchester, servicing clients across the UK in several diverse industries.

At Hybrid, we partner with Tier 1 operators in the BtR market, delivering exceptional Hard Services FM, including in-house M&E solutions and strategic partnerships for specialised services.

We're currently seeking a

Fire Door Engineer

to support our continued growth across the BtR and commercial property sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for the

maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire doors

across multiple facilities. This is a critical role in ensuring safety compliance and protecting building occupants.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance:

Ensure all fire doors comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and are regularly inspected and certified.

Inspections:

Conduct routine inspections and audits of fire doors, checking for signs of wear, damage, or misuse, ensuring functionality in the event of a fire.

Repairs:

Carry out minor repairs and adjustments (e.g. replacing hinges, seals, closers, and latches), and escalate significant repairs or full replacements where required.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of all inspections, repairs, maintenance works, and replacements, ensuring up-to-date fire safety logs are available.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential:

Proven experience as a Fire Door Engineer, with the ability to carry out installations, repairs, and maintenance to a high standard Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail Ability to maintain accurate records and provide clear, professional documentation Good communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel across multiple sites as required
