Are you a qualified Fire Alarm Engineer or Fire Alarm Technician with BS5389 or BS5306? Are you fed up with long days on the road and nights away from home and looking for a single site role and a change to have a bit of your life back?

BASIC SALARY: Up to \xc2\xa340,000

\xc2\xb7 Overtime at time and a quarter (you\xe2\x80\x99ll typically accrue 2 hours a day)

LOCATION: Bridgwater

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Taunton, Weston-super-Mare, Wellington, Yeovil, Chard, Glastonbury, Tiverton, Cullompton, Minehead, or anywhere within easy access of the M5 that can get you to Bridgwater.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Fire Alarm Engineer, Fire Alarm Technician, Fire Engineer

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be joining an established team of professional Fire Alarm Engineers on one of our most prestigious sites. Providing on-going service, maintenance, new equipment installation and commissioning, this will be a busy role with a wide range of projects to get involved with.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for maintaining the safety of construction staff across one of the busiest construction environments in the South West. Whether it\xe2\x80\x99s fault finding, testing or servicing, no two days will be the same.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Fire Alarm Engineer, Fire Alarm Technician, Fire Engineer

You MUST have a proven track record as a Fire Alarm Engineer, ideally with knowledge or experience on industrial / construction sites.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be fully conversant with British Standards BS5306: Fire Extinguishing Installations and BS5389: Fire Detection & Alarm Systems for Buildings as well as:

\xc2\xb7 Code of practice for design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of systems in non-domestic premises.
\xc2\xb7 Fire detection and fire alarm systems for buildings
\xc2\xb7 Code of practice for the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of emergency voice communication systems.
\xc2\xb7 Fire extinguishing installations and equipment on premises.
\xc2\xb7 Commissioning and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be a strong communicator and used to managing you time effectively to complete your work accurately and on time. You\xe2\x80\x99ll also be very adept a keeping accurate records and making sure the necessary documentation is always completed.
