Engineer

Scott FPS Ltd is a well established family run business based in South Wales with over 30 years experience in the fire industry. As a BAFE accredited company we strive on delivering the best quality workmanship for our valued customers. We are actively recruiting for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer with a proven track record.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and commissioning of fire alarm systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with fire alarm systems. Provide technical support to customers as needed. Keep accurate records of all work completed. Training will be provided on our mobile software app.

Essential Requirements:

Minimum experience of 2 years in Fire Alarm Engineering Familiarity with industry regulations and standards. Knowledge of fire alarm system installation techniques, equipment, and tools. An understanding of Health & Safety at work. Ability to hold an autonomous role and demonstrate excellent time management. High levels of literacy, verbal and written communication skills. Computer literate Good professional representation of the company Exceptional customer service. Must be flexible, enthusiastic and have a can do attitude. Will be required to work as part of an on call rota system (inc weekends) Submission of relevant paperwork in a timely manner thorugh our online software Be smart in appearance Full clean driver's licence

Desirable:

Knowledge of Siemens, Advanced, Kentec, Morley, C-Tec BS5839 Certification or equivalent Any other certificates and qualifications Electrical Experience

Job Type:

Full Time (40hrs per week), Permanent, Monday to Friday

Salary:

33,000 - 40,000 -Negotiable depending on experience
