This position predominantly involves working on residential and commercial building sites with some work in occupied homes. Full skills training is provided during a residential course at the training centre in Bovey Tracey, Devon. The job will be repairing a wide range of surfaces that will require attention to detail and some lateral thought to problem solve. The work will be both in and outdoor and there will be some use of ladders. Work is carried out in all seasons and all-weather conditions. Skills of relationship building with customers and new sales generation will be required. The Finisher may be required to travel to cover work as needed.

Job Duties-

1. The Finisher often works alone and therefore needs to be self-motivated and a self-starter.

2. Finishers must be good with their hands and have an eye for detail.

3. As Finishers mainly work unsupervised, we trust Finishers to ensure that the correct levels of service are maintained.

4. The Finisher is responsible for completing all records accurately and honestly.

5. All works are completed to the best standards, in the event of a repair being either unrepairable or less than 100% the Finisher will contact their Line Manager first.

6. Good administrative skills are required. In particular, the Finisher is required to call his Operations Manager every day.
