About the role

FP&A Manager - Aviation International , will be responsible for reporting financial performance, focusing on profitability and ensuring accuracy and consistency of financial reports. The FP&A Manager will provide in depth analysis on performance allowing business owners to make sound and informed management decisions. You will manage strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting exercises for International Aviation. Additionally, the FP&A Manager will be responsible for compliance & tax duties across the European legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• To provide sound financial / non-financial performance analysis and commentary.
• To project manage and prepare the financial planning and budget exercise and ensure a high level of accuracy in line with Global FP&A requirements.
• To actively participate in month end closing by ensuring correct revenue and cost allocation and by proposing appropriate accruals.
• Oversee European tax filings (VAT, WHT, Corporate Tax, etc) to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Partner with external firms to complete annual statutory audits aligned with local European regulations and support any audit needs for the same entities for Aviation and Maritime globally.
• To actively participate to cost control projects and propose actions to ensure containment of general overheads.
• To review and improve all processes related to revenue and cost recognition and ensure appropriate communication across all the departments of the organization.
• Work with GM Aviation International to implement reporting efficiencies across the Europe, Middle East and Asia territories.
• To report any concerns related to medicinal products and report them to the Line Manager or the Responsible Person.
• Ad-hoc analysis and reporting tool/dashboard to provide better control of the profitability.

About you

• Proven working experience in Business Analysis, post-graduation preferred, with strong background in management
• accounting.
• Multinational Company experience in a fast pace service environment.
• Experience of liaising with Business Heads and leading a budgetary/planning process.
• CIMA Qualification would be an asset.
• Hands-on with day-to-day operations.
• Analytical skills to provide detailed and valuable business analysis to management.
• Strong IT acumen to quickly master existing tools (strong Excel is a must - other tools are mainly MS Great Plains and Cognos) and identify new ways of improvement.
