We are currently seeking a financial mis-selling Solicitor to join our friendly well-established team.

The financial mis-selling team within Express Solicitors handles claims against financial institutions where they have mis-sold financial products. The team litigate a broad mix of Plevin claims, undisclosed commission claims and are soon to start litigating business energy claims.

The successful candidate should have previous exposure of managing variety of litigated financial mis-selling claims and also experience of supervising trainee solicitors.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of litigated financial mis-selling claims.
• Conduct thorough case assessments, reviewing documentation and identifying legal strategies.
• Prepare legal documents, including court pleadings, letters, and settlement agreements.
• Supervision and mentorship of a trainee solicitor
• Collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders to strengthen case strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with financial mis-selling legislation, regulations, and industry trends.
• Supporting the development of the existing department

Required attributes:

• Qualified solicitor or qualified by experience within a financial mis-selling background.
• Solid understanding of financial mis-selling laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Compassionate and dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for clients

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

• Competitive salary \xe2\x80\x93 Dependent on experience.
• Our standard working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8:30am to 5pm Friday.
