Grade E: Starting salary is 39,010 per annum. The band goes up to 43,599 per annum, however, this is dependent on annual performance reviews.

Finance Manager - Oasis Community Housing
The Financial Controller will support the Chief Operating Officer in building and strengthening finance systems to ensure they are fit for purpose and by ensuring appropriate analysis is provided to support the next stage of Oasis Community
Housing's growth. The role will be responsible for setting the budget, monitoring the monthly management accounts and setting the rents annually. The role will also be responsible for producing the year end accounts and managing the external audit of these.
Key responsibilities:
Lead the team in ensuring OCH is fully compliant with all statutory and legal requirements in relation to Finance.
Identify and implement best practice in all areas of financial management, ensuring robust and efficient systems, policies and procedures.
Oversee the production of accurate and timely monthly financial reporting, including management accounts, to assist in the smooth and efficient running of the organisation and to improve budget holder accountability.
Lead the team in the provision of reporting including, but not limited to, finance metrics, budgeting, cash flow, statutory and monthly accounting, to assist in the smooth and efficient running of the organisation.
Ensure that appropriate processes are in place to guarantee long term financial stability, viability, and sustainability of the organisation.
Work with the Chief Operating Officer to maintain cash balances at an adequate level to allow the organisation to operate effectively.
Oversee the production of accurate information to assist with the production of the Statutory Accounts and the Group Consolidated Accounts.
In conjunction with budget holders prepare the charity's annual budget, departmental budgets, and cash flow forecasts, as well as multi-year budgets to assist with strategic planning.
Set the Housing Benefit eligible rents and the Affordable Rents annually, as well as Service Charges. Ensuring that Local Authority deadlines are adhered to.
Work closely with the Fundraising Team to enable income generation and tracking.
With the Chief Operating Officer, manage key external relationships including those with OCH's bankers, auditors, HMRC, legal advisors, tax authorities and technology providers.
Oversee the company's payroll.
Maintain an excellent relationship with Oasis Charitable Trust's Finance department, ensuring productive working relationships.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
+ Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA or equivalent) with knowledge of management and financial accounting (Essential)
+ CIPD or equivalent qualification (Desirable)
+ Experience of leading finance teams in a charity/commercial/public sector environment (ideally more than one) (Essential)
+ Experience within a charitable organisation of the development and application of accounting procedures and controls (Desirable)
+ Experience of working within a growing organisation and used to managing change (Desirable)
