THE COMPANY: Our client is a successful banking firm with a strong global presence, offering a comprehensive range of services across corporate and investment banking activities. THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To support the provision of financial crime training to key stakeholders
• To support the holistic financial crime compliance programme, where required.
• To escalate effectively to the departmental head any other matters that require further guidance.
• Coordinate communications with the department and other relevant internal departments such as legal, front office etc
• To support the FCC functions on strategic project initiatives
• Ensure applicable policies and procedures are maintained and up to date.
• To act as an escalation point for relevant management information and information packs
• To support increased focus on outsourcing, internal and external audit requests for the business
• Track and manage reporting of financial crime systems and controls
• Track and manage strategic enhancements to the financial crime programme
• To support the financial crime functions on strategic project initiatives relating to the internal control environment.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• An understanding of key financial crime elements would be desirable.
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• An understanding of Banking products and services would be preferable.
• Excellent IT Skills (e.g. Microsoft Excel)
• A strong desire to learn.
• Self- motivated.
• Ability to work well in a team.
