VANRATH are partnered with a leading manufacturing business in Greater Belfast who require a Financial Controller to join their team, initially for a period of 6 months. They are the genuine market leading business within their field, and their continued innovation keeps them ahead of their rivals. Working on a global scale, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a tight knot finance team, while contributing to an international organisation.
As the Financial Controller, you will take responsibility for oversight of business objectives, monitoring business performance and ensuring financial controls are adhered too. This role will offer the opportunity to impact the business\'s financial strategy and decisions, while will be felt worldwide within their market. This role has an ideal start date of September to allow for significant handover period, candidates on reduced notice periods are essential.

About you
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA)
- 3+ years\' experience in a Senior Finance role
- Excellent understanding of accounting processes and the need for appropriate controls in place
- Experience in a group setting (desirable)
- Ability to engage with and influence non-finance staff
- Implementation of financial policies and procedures
- Implementing finance strategy, anticipating complex issues & challenges
- Develop and deliver financial management and control systems, building annual budget, quarterly and weekly forecasts, tracking and reporting actuals
- Leading, coaching and developing a finance team (7 members)
- Ensuring compliance with local market financial laws
- Supporting the commercial team on key pricing and bidding activities
