Salary: \xc2\xa365,000 - \xc2\xa370,000 Per Annum (plus \xc2\xa36k car and 10% bonus)
Our client is a growing technology business whop seek to hire a Financial Controller. The Financial Controller should be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and have a rounded accounting background. The role will manage 10 reports and work closely with the Head of Finance.
Responsibilities:
o General accounting oversight
o Monitoring and administrating internal polices and controls
o Coordinating processes between third parties and the business
o Managing banking & company credit card transactions including bank reconciliations
o Provide finance support to the Group\xe2\x80\x99s HR and Payroll function, including reporting, payments and creditor/debtor reconciliations
o Management of Accounts Payable including payments, vender set up and relations
o Management of Accounts Receivable including billing, collections and receipting
o Intercompany reconciliation and reporting within group and wider company
o Collation, review and filing of all required VAT returns, HMRC PAYE payments and Pension Fund contributions
o Preparing and communicating cashflow projections including management of intercompany loans to meet liabilities on a weekly basis
o Become the subject matter expert on financial systems and implementation of accounting policies in line with prevailing FRS
o Lead the end-to-end audit process of current systems, while acting as a point of contact for external auditors
o Oversee timely and accurate period close results, including preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts, associated reports to stakeholders and thorough review of all balance sheet reconciliations
o Prepare annual revenue and capital budget models, analysis and reports for Senior Management Team and Budget holders
o Monitor financial progress against targets and provide timely updates to stakeholders through regular forecasting, and monthly finance reviews
o Assist in ensuring that all internal control measures are implemented and communicated to all appropriate staff. Assist in the risk management process within the department and in the promotion of risk management throughout the group
o Review the performance of line managed staff on an on-going basis and provide guidance and support where required
o Maintain a Fixed Asset Register
o Manage, mentor, and motivate the finance team within your department
o Contribute toward group efficiency projects/initiatives
o Develop and supervise the implementation of internal financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
A salary of \xc2\xa365,000-\xc2\xa370,000 is on offer plus \xc2\xa36,000 car allowance plus 10% bonus
