Financial Controller - Fixed Term

Are you a commercially minded finance leader ready to take on a pivotal role during an exciting phase of acquisition and growth?

Job Overview / Purpose

HSL Compliance Ltd, a well-established and fast-growing services business, is looking for an experienced Interim Financial Controller to oversee and integrate the finance operations of its recently acquired businesses. This is more than just a numbers role -- it's a rare opportunity to shape, streamline and align financial functions post-acquisition and play a key role in future integrations.


This is a hands-on, strategic position where you'll act as the bridge between acquired companies and the wider HSL finance team, ensuring consistency, compliance, and clarity across the board.


Own the end-to-end finance function for newly acquired businesses Deliver robust reporting, accurate budgeting, and clear forecasting Lead and support both internal and external finance teams across entities Align financial controls and reporting to group standards post-acquisition Manage the audit process, tax compliance, and financial regulation adherence Partner with operational teams to provide strategic financial insight Travel as required to support finance teams on-site and drive successful integration

Salary:

up to 68k per annum, depending on experience and qualifications

Contract:
