Reconciliations Analyst - Retail Business Salary: \xc2\xa3195 - \xc2\xa3225 a day Location: South West London (3 office days) Start date: ASAP Duration: 3 months Responsibilities:
Analyse various control account reconciliation eg cash sales, credit cards, web sales and bring them up-to date
Analyse and resolve debit balances within AP - matching those do match with relevant credits and analysing and resolving those that don\'t match
Investigate and analyse historic take on balances in GL
To provide an iPOS (Procurement System) reconciliation for all Brands
Carry out a number of supplier statement reconciliations to spread the selection of the regularly chosen suppliers
Investigate missing invoices from GRNI
Assist in reviewing procedures and processes for reconciliations, generally, and advise on a better methodology for carrying out these reconciliations
Supporting the Group Reporting Manager with completion of stat accounts for some international entities. This will involve liaison with professional firms in European countries
Required Skills:
Highly experienced accountant with data analysis experience
Proficient in Excel, particularly with regard to analysis of large quantities of data
Previous experience using Sun or iPOS would be beneficial but not essential
Resilient, very well organised, and a self-starter who is able to manage own time and deadlines with minimal supervision
Be able to work independently, within a team, and take the initiative
Flexible and positive approach, prepared to get involved with new tasks / projects
Collaborative, strong team player, prepared to oversee and help others in the team
Retail background and / or experience of multi-site operations preferable, but not essential
