Finance Analyst

to join our high-growth, mission-driven startup and play a critical role in our next phase of scale across the UK and US. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with our

Head of Finance & Operations

, external finance partners, and cross-functional leadership team--including direct exposure to our Founder--to help shape the financial engine behind the #1 womanhood brand, globally.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

Own the month-end and year-end close processes: Collaborate with the external accounts team to manage journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis, delivering the month-end reporting pack to the senior leadership team. Enhance budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning models: Work closely with the Head of Finance to improve these models. Revenue and cost reconciliations: Run and refine these reconciliations between internal systems and external platforms on a monthly basis. Financial record maintenance: Ensure accurate and compliant financial records across UK and US entities. Cash flow monitoring and reporting: Monitor and report on cash flow, flagging risks and opportunities to leadership, and making recommendations on key payment cycles. Business partnership and Decision-making support: Act as a business partner advising and challenging Operations, Marketing, and Commercial teams to ensure aligned and data-driven decision-making. Develop insightful reports and analysis: Provide insights into commercial performance and operational cost base by key drivers, surfacing actionable insights from multiple data sources. Support external audit and investor reporting processes.

What We're Looking For:

Passion for Luna Daily's mission and vision. Part-Qualified accountant with 2-3 years of experience in a finance role, ideally within consumer/retail/DTC sectors, and currently working towards CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW/ACA. Strong analytical and commercial acumen: Ability to transform numbers into meaningful insights. Experience with accounting and stock management systems (e.g., Xero, Dear/Cin7). Excel expertise: Proficient in pivot tables, lookups, and model building (Power BI experience is a plus). Familiarity with global financial operations in a scaling business across the UK and US. Clear communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive: You take initiative and get things done. Bonus: Experience working with external accounting firms or in investor reporting.
