We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance Service Delivery team in Leavesden, Hertfordshire. You will be responsible for delivering and supporting Treasury owned processes and activities, including bank accounts and Treasury systems administration, cash management, controls, audit support, and scheduled & ad-hoc reporting activities for the Skanska UK Business Unit (BU).

What you'll do:



Administration of all bank accounts within the UK business (circa 100), including operational access, online and paper mandates Ad-hoc bank KYC checks, opening and closing bank accounts Process & support with manual Payments where needed Partnering with our Group Treasury function, external Banks, JV Partner Treasury teams, finance, other Enabling Functions and Operational stakeholders Post cash & support with cash posting in Oracle cash management Carry out the daily cash flow forecasting processes to Group Treasury ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Support the line manager in providing external auditors with bank reconciliations, statements, process walkthroughs, signatory information

What you'll bring to the role:



At least finalist for professional accounting qualification Considerable technical accounting skills and finance experience Knowledge and experience of financial reporting tools (ERP and Excel), data management and analysis Considerable knowledge and competence of Account reconciliation & validation, risk awareness, mitigation & critical thinking Considerable collaboration & business partnering skills Considerable time management, organisation and prioritisation skills Identifying and managing training and development of self and others Living the Skanska values, demonstrating ethics and professionalism
