Etex are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join the Sigmat team, based in Leeds!

12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Competitive Salary Depending on Experience

What you\'ll do:

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for producing management accounts for Delivery and Group, whilst also supporting with financial reporting and project work.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Production of the Delivery and Group accounts and Consol for each month end
• Aid and Preparation of month end company and group board pack
• Provide support throughout the financial audit and production of statutory accounts
• Intercompany reconciliations and recharges
• Submission of CIS returns
• Submissions of VAT returns
• Working closely with the Purchase Ledger / Purchasing departments to ensure project completeness and accuracy
• To document and monitor the effectiveness of internal financial reporting processes and controls, and provide recommendations for improvement as required
• [Tax, review of balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting, mentoring of junior staff?]
• Other ad-hoc tasks and projects when requires
• Any other tasks commensurate with the post

What you\'ll bring:

• Accounting qualification is desirable
• Minimum 6 years accounting experience
• Ability to work within a fast paced and changing environment
• Experience making improvements to finance process
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Confident and professional with a can-do attitude
• Sage 200 experience is beneficial
• Experience within the Construction industry is beneficial
