The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant on behalf of a Growing Manufacturing business with offices in Desborough.The RoleAs Financial Accountant you will take responsibility for all monthly and annual consolidated accounts, updating of accounting standards and take a lead role for financial controls and processes for the business during a period of exciting change. Day to day duties will consist of:In-house technical expert for prevailing accounting standards, reporting and group-wide prioritiesPreparation of monthly consolidationWorking with external auditors to respond to information requests and to manage areas of judgement on a timely basis.Preparation of inputs into statutory accounts for all UK and Ireland entities.Gatekeeper of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.Key contact for external tax advisors and HMRC to ensure that statutory regulatory returns, corporation tax computations and monthly VAT returns are prepared and submitted on a timely basis.Producing cash and working capital forecasts.Preparing monthly consolidation, resolution of intercompany issues with other entities and ensuring that supporting processes are robust.Aligning balance sheet and financial control processes across multiple UK entities.Being the key contact for external auditors, coordinating with finance colleagues to ensure that audit deliverables are prepared within deadlines.Providing inputs for statutory accounts to ensure that financial statements are prepared in line with relevant legislation and accounting standards.Review and control over best practice of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.Preparing financials in line with current UK GAAP & IFRS reporting standards (maintaining a local TB and IFRS TB) with a particular focus on IFRS16 and right of use assets.Your ProfileYou will be a Qualified Accountant ACA or ACCA with previous technical financial accounting experience looking for a new development opportunity within a growing and developing organisation.
