Job Description




Canon EMEA are looking for a Finance Analyst to join our Imaging Technologies & Communications Group (ITCG) Business Unit on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover). As a key member of the ITCG Finance team, you will provide ITCG Management with analysis of financial and operational performance in order to manage all aspects of the business. You will also support the budgeting and forecasting process and take an active role in projects to help the ITCG business to achieve its targets.

In addition to a salary of between \xc2\xa342,636 - \xc2\xa350,160 you\'ll be eligible for a performance-based bonus of 10%. What we ask

  • Key member of the ITCG Controlling team to manage, review, evaluate and ensure the accuracy of the monthly/quarterly and annual results, under strict deadlines
  • Product and Country responsibility with emphasis on strict P&L control, in particular, underlying GM/ PBT performance
  • Lead the production of the Fully Allocated process (Actual/budgets) through allocation of HQ margins & SGA, apply analysis skills to help NSOs to understand HQ margin variances
  • Support required internal/external SOX/IPE controls, ensuring any gaps are picked up and resolved in a timely manner across all systems (Oracle/Demantra/ Context/ OBI)
  • Manage the monthly reconciliation process between Demantra (our investment platform) and Oracle
  • Lead the ITCG budget process, with collaboration across the different departments and NSOs to ensure a timely and accurate budget
  • Advise regarding the implications of changes to US GAAP and Canon IT systems and support key business change projects
  • Generate and distribute reports \xe2\x80\x93 ensure that reports can be efficiently and flexibly generated, and shared in the most efficient manner, using the appropriate available IT tools

You will need

  • Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA or ACCA) or QBE
  • Advanced Excel and Modelling skills and strong Analysis skills
  • Proven Reporting expertise, ideally utilising Oracle tools including Essbase, OBIEE, Hyperion and Demantra
  • Strong Communication and Collaboration skills and a Proactive approach
  • Previous experience of working in a pan-European/EMEA scale organisation
