Job Description
Grafton Banks Finance are working with an SME services company with offices in Worthing, West Sussex to recruit a Finance Manager on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting into the Managing Director and managing a small team of two you will be responsible for smooth running and reporting of the company\xe2\x80\x99s finance function.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Full ownership of the finance function
- Managing and taking full responsibility for the companies Purchase and Sales ledgers.
- Credit control
- HMRC \xe2\x80\x93 VAT
- Reconciliation between companies accounting software systems and using Excel , ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Company Payroll
- Balance Sheet reconciliations including accruals, deferrals, fixed assets, control accounts.
- Bank reconciliations, cash control and forecasting
- Create monthly management pack.
- Implement enhancements and developments to IT infrastructure.
- Update processes and controls.
- Budget / forecasts.
- Commercial pricing model review and feedback of actual vs expectation.
- Controls e.g. purchase orders, sign offs, authorisations.
- Update MI reporting adding insight through analysis, KPIs and commentary.
